With over 20 years of experience as a civil rights attorney, Jack Tuckner has represented clients in New York City and the surrounding areas, founding Tuckner, Sipser, Weinstock & Sipser, LLP, a progressive NYC law firm dedicated to the empowerment of women in the workplace.

His expertise encompasses workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, and unlawful termination. As a leader in addressing pregnancy discrimination, Jack offers an essential guide titled "Women’s Rights in the Workplace: A Guide to Pregnancy Discrimination." His commitment to justice extends to providing pro bono legal services to political activists in need.

Recognized for his outstanding work, Jack has been named a Super Lawyer for the past fourteen years, placing him among the top 5% of New York labor and employment attorneys. In addition to his legal practice, he frequently shares his expertise with national media outlets and participates in local grassroots events.

In addition to practicing law, Jack Tuckner regularly contributes his expertise on women’s legal rights to national media outlets and conferences. He has appeared as a commentator on national programs such as Inside Edition, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, NBC’s Nightly News with Brian Williams, and National Public Radio.  Locally, he makes appearances at grassroots seminars and community meetings across the tri-state area. He has also delivered speeches at the New York State Bar Association’s Annual Conference and at Liz Claiborne’s Annual Day of Group Activism, “Time to Talk About Domestic Violence.”

After completing his bachelor’s degree with honors at Hunter College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY), Jack Tuckner went on to earn a law degree from CUNY’s School of Law at Queens College in 1987.
