Catherine holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and she officially joined the California bar in 2015.

In addition to a Juris Doctorate, Catherine also holds a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College, which she draws from in her legal work.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Catherine worked with parents and children in a variety of roles as a licensed elementary and special educator. She continues to currently support families as an active labor and postpartum doula. She also teaches childbirth education and postpartum classes for new parents across the United States.

When Catherine is not assisting with court cases or supporting growing families, she writes for websites on women’s health and parenting related topics. Materials she has produced can be found on Forbes.com, Healthline.com, and Education.com.
